Peer Educator Sexual Health Training
In collaboration with Women’s Health Specialists, our Native Youth Program and Native Youth Council hosted a Peer Educator Sexual Health Training for young people between the age of 12-15.
Native youth are trained in peer to peer educational settings through engaging activities and conversations. Participants learn about sex, STI/HIV, contraceptives, abortion, gender affirming care, pregnancy screenings, testing and treatment, along with youth rights, accessing clinical services and more.
14 youth received stipends and certificates for completion.
